Theme: Is Africa Emerging?

 

The Ninth Annual Conference on Regional Integration in Africa (ACRIA 9) has been held in Banjul, Gambia, 8-11 July 2018.  It has been jointly organized by:

 

-        The African Political Economy Association (APEA), Global

-        The Center for Research on Political Economy (CREPOL), Dakar

-        The West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Lagos

-        The West African Monetary Agency (WAMA), Freetown

-        The West African Monetary Institute (WAMI), Accra.

 

The theme of the four-day conference was “Is Africa Emerging?”.  The goal of the conference is to organize a forum for presentation of scientific papers and discussion on the policy implications of their findings in support of the regional integration agenda.
